Welcome to Bliss Origins Doula - Birth Services, where I, Cristina Pilcher - Certified BEST Doula believe in empowering families through compassionate support during the journey of childbirth.
I established Bliss Origins in January 2024 - as a chief Mama-san of my own two children, 3 years and under, I chose this calling because it’s my goal to support families in having a positive birth experience so that they can put focus and energy into their journey as a new family the way I have been blessed to do so with my own family. In doing this it’s my goal to improve the U.S. maternal mortality rates, especially for BIPOC parents.

“ …I ended up asking Cristina P. to be my doula! Both our prenatal visits were really comfortable (I have a little bit of social anxiety), but she supported me through the entire process. She had community resources wherever I needed them and worked with my husband to help train for my needs. While my birth didn’t go as planned (do they ever?) I could not be more pleased with the experience Cristina helped provide. Then postpartum visits she helped direct my family in how to support me as well.
